I can only say breath taking!!!! What a place what a view what a peace🥰🥰 quiet with good traditional food 😎😎😋👍. Hard climb from rifugio Dondena parking spot and end of the possible accessible road. You have a hike or a mtb stretch of 5miles in to the heights of the beautiful italian alps, real hard work on the legs if you are not use to this lenghts of climbing trails but we did it, the signes mark it as a 2h 30min hike but my nephew is 11yo amd it was his first long MTB like this so it took us 3h but he was willing and eager to get here and relax with views to dream of and eat some amazing food, typical of the location. Me and my nephew we enjoyed some classic polenta & polenta concia with salsiccia there was a good selection of beer, and spirits, coffe and fresh juices. As yiu can see from the photo theres loads on the menu to make you feel at a 5 star restaurant in the sky...the owners where very friendly and helpful, theres parking for the bikes outside near the deck, a charger for ebikes we saw a guy plug one in, loads of beds upstairs for those who want to enjoy the location to the fullest. We definitely gonna do it again🚴😎👍

Outstanding location by the lake, in the middle of alpine pastures, and near a historical chapel. Sanitary installations are first-class, food was excellent, the chef did a superb job, the large dog welcomes you with a lot of furry hair, and the young team in charge (when we were there) had answers to our hiking routes and our numerous "what do you see from here" questions. Thank you! The team however MUST do something about the beds, specifically the mattresses and lattice frames: they were so bad, I had to sleep on the floor, the beds are old and used, and grumpy. And so was I, in the morning.

Miserin is one of high-altitude rifugios (refuge) which serves hikers on the Alta Via 2 in the Italian Alps. It sits on a high plain on the shores of Lake Miserin overlooking snow covered mountain ranges. The small chapel, Madonna della Nevi, lies just a few steps from the rifugio and adds to the peace and tranquility of the setting.||||The rifugio is on the small side and has about 40 beds, arranged as a set of bunk beds in a few dorms. The entire building was very clean and well maintained. There are 3 showers with plenty of hot water (unmetered) and free Wi-Fi. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food, while simple as to be expected in these locations, was tasty and filling. For a few euros, he staff will make ham & cheese sandwiches for the next day's lunch.||||Rifugio Miserin near the eastern reaches of the Gran Paradiso. Since we were hiking east to west, this was our first stop. After staying at several other rifugios during the following days, I can say in retrospect, that this was my favorite: beautiful surroundings, a friendly staff, and and all the amenities needed during a brief stop on the...
