Facilmente raggiungibile da Piano Margi, il Monte Pecoraro offre panorami splendidi sia dal versante est verso Capaci sia dal versante ovest verso Castellammare del Golfo. Inoltre percorrendo il sentiero per tutta la sua lunghezza, si raggiunge la punta settentrionale da dove si ha una completa visuale sull'aeroporto Falcone/Borsellino. La salita è poco impegnativa, quindi...

In questi anni si è cercato di riforestare con alberi non enedemici ricordiamo che il Pino con i suoi aghi tende il terreno ardo favorendo solo i suoi semi ma tutto ciò rende il terreno arido e facilmente infiammabile si dovrebbero piantare alberi della flora siciliana come lecci faggi quercie carrubi...
