Trovandomi in vacanza nella majella abbiamo deciso di fare una gita anche alla Camosciara. Il parcheggio è ampio e costa 5 euro per tutta la giornata. Essendo un sabato d agosto c'era davvero tantissima gente. Ci sono diversi sentieri da poter percorrere. C'è la possibilità di fare un giro a cavallo, circa 20 euro un'ora. Oppure un giro in carrozza. C'è anche un trenino, biglietto andata 3 euro, ritorno 2 euro, che ti consente di arrivare alla fine del percorso g1 da dove partono altri sentieri. Mi aspettavo, da amante delle montagne e dei sentieri, qualcosa di mozzafiato. Purtroppo no. Sembrava di stare al mercato rionale di quelli rumorosi! Bambini strillanti e genitori urlatori. I camosci non si vedono perché c'è davvero troppo rumore. Il percorso g1 è una strada asfaltata da dove passano sia il trenino sia alcune auto. Vedere il trenino passare per fare un pezzetto di strada da 30 minuti a piedi mi ha rattristato. Strada quasi in piano e per nulla faticosa. Toglie il bello di camminare. Perfetto per i merenderos. Appunto. Il percorso g5 che porta alle cascate è tutto a scalini. Per facilitare la salita. Le infradito no! Eppure c'erano infradito... il percorso che dura solo 5 minuti sembrava la salita all everest. Pieno di gente. Urlante e che si fermava lungo il percorso a chiacchierare. Il sentiero è stretto e trovarsi persone ferme non è stato il massimo. Tra l'altro per salire 5 minuti non c'è bisogno di fermarsi a riposare. Le cascate mi hanno deluso. Speravo in vere cascate, stile Alpi. Piccole fontane ...Intorno alle cascate non c'era posto per andare a sdraiarsi o mangiare un panino. Oppure proseguire nel cammino. È un percorso recintato di 5 minuti. Panorama zero. Probabilmente sono rimasta delusa perché mi aspettavo qualcosa stile Alpi. Invece ho trovato tutto molto commerciale, poco montano. Più un parco giochi per bambini e per merenderos che non vogliono camminare. Purtroppo non ho provato quella bellissima sensazione di sentirmi in montagna nella natura. I cani si possono portare al guinzaglio ma non su tutti i sentieri. Il passeggino solo sul g1. Al punto d'arrivo del g1 ci sono due bar, bagni, e negozi...

Riserva Naturale nel cuore del Parco Nazionale D'Abruzzo, nei pressi di Civitella Alfedena (AQ). Sul posto è presente un parcheggio a pagamento (5€ per l'intera giornata) e aree picnic dove è possibile trascorrere la giornata in relax. L'area picnic è provvista di tavoli e panche e di aree dove poter fare la brace e cuocere sul posto la carne. Se si sceglie di usufruire di questi servizi il costo è di 10 € a postazione (1 tavolo e relative panche per 6/8 persone) per l'intera giornata e questo da diritto all'utilizzo del punto barbecue. Nei giorni festivi è necessario recarsi molto presto in loco o si richia di non trovare né il parcheggio, né il tavolo. Se non si vuole usufruire di questo servizio è però possibile utilizzare gratuitamente l'area picnic davvero vasta, ma senza punto fuoco. Vicino a quest'area sono presenti i servizi igienici, un punto ristoro e un punto dove è possibile noleggiare bici o prenotare un giro a cavallo con una guida. Da questo punto inoltre partono diversi sentieri. Uno porta alle cascate, percorso di circa 2 km e mezzo, di facile percorrenza anche con i bambini e molto suggestivo (la prima parte, sebbene immersa nella natura, è asfaltata). L'altro, decisamente più impegnativo e completamente nel bosco, porta ad un rifugio. Dalla zona ristoro, posta all'ingresso, c'è anche la possibilità di prendere un trenino che conduce al secondo punto ristoro più in alto e posto all'ingresso dell'ultima parte di percorso che porta alle cascate. Il posto è suggestivo, se si è fortunati non è insolito vedere camosci, la natura quasi incontaminata e vale la pena visitarla e riempire i propri occhi di tutto quel verde per rilassarsi e tornare...
