Quadra Franciacorta — Attraction in Cologne

We had such a wonderful time at Quadra. By the time we got to tour the cantina at Quadra we had already been to a number of wineries in the area, both big and small. But Quadra was the most informative and welcoming cantina of all the wineries that we visited. The property is beautiful, the cantina is state of the art and the staff is warm and welcoming. Giovanni and Angelica were great hosts and taught us a lot about franciacorta, even though we "thought" we had already heard it all! The owner and the winemaker were both also around on the property and you can really feel that the wine is a passion for all of the staff and owners. Had an excellent time here. We were only in the area for one day and we emailed Giovanni asking if he could squeeze us in for a tasting, and he went out of his way to provide for us. We had a great little tour of the cellar and vineyard, approximately 30 minutes, followed by a tasting of three wines. The wine was excellent and the only thing better than the wine was Giovanni’s hospitality and knowledge of the wine itself. Later, we even came back to Quadra for dinner and had an excellent meal, along with our favorite wine the QBlack, at a very fair price. Sono un appassionata di vini, e oggi ho visitato la Cantina “QUADRA” La zona è tra le più celebri per la produzione spumantistica di qualità. 
La zona del Franciacorta alterna colline e rilievi, di alti e bassi in cui i vigneti sono una costante. È presente un microclima perfetto, questo è dovuto alle condizioni meteorologiche miti per influenza del lago.

L’accoglienza di oggi in cantina era del giovanissimo Paolo, un ragazzo educato, preparato, spigliato ma soprattutto coinvolgente ed appassionato nello spiegare del territorio, del vigneto del lavoro in cantina, e nell’accompagnare la degustazione fra profumi e sapori.

Capace anche di trasmettere la filosofia della cantina e l’amore e la passione di un team che lavora coeso.

La cantina una bellissima realtà, con etichette non ancora conosciute ma capacissime di affermarsi a fianco di etichette dei “BIG” del Franciacorta .
