Cascate Schiavaneis — Attraction in Comun General de Fascia

Magnificent waterfall corner at the end of an easy stroll beside the street. You just follow the rocky dry river path to reach the beginning of the mountains, to spot this stream of water from above, creating these beautiful crystalline ponds and splash. As you can see from the photos, the colours you can get are amazing. Perfect for any age, even though if you want to get closer (and higher) you have to climb some rocks (but not complicated at all. My 10 year daughter did it very easily). Perfect spot for photographers in love with waterfalls. I suggest to take with you black filters if you want to play with the smoothie effect of water. It's very bright here. On the same path there's an area/stroll dedicated to marmots (or goundhogs). We didn't see any here but you could definitely hear them. To get here you will need to park your car in a small place beside the street. There's no much space available so better come early or by bike/motorbike if you want to be sure to find a place. There's a bigger car park even a bit further away, just in case. From the closer car park it's probably a 20 minutes walk...

Great reward for little effort. Such a short walk from the road and we were lucky enough to see if flowing. The creek was dry but starting...

Abbiamo parcheggiato in un piccolo parcheggio lungo la strada segnato da google ed addentrati in questo breve percorso fino alla cascata. Percorso molto semplice adatto ai bambini ma non ai passeggini, segnalato bene da cartelli. Le marmotte non le abbiamo viste ma le loro tane sì, anche perché all'entrata erano cosparse di carote, quindi era impossibile non...
