Dolomiti Terrace Panorama Viewpoing. Magnificient view at almost 360 degree of the dolomites. Must do: you reach the top (with bar & restaurant) at +3000 meters via a cableway, called Funivia Sass Pordoi. The trip is included if you have the Dolomiti Superski Pass, at no charge. At the top you can walk on the crest of the mountain and have a magnificient view all around. Take a professional selfie: the balcony has an HD camera mounted on a pole, for group selfie with Dolomites as background. It's free to use with your Dolomiti Super Skipass and you'll retrieve a professional picture, online, with your Skipass ID number at home. In the base station (Sass Pordoi) you can use free skiboxes to store your skis while going up and down (1 Euro just to lock , refunded when you...

We arrived here by a coach and because tickets were pre booked and it was near lunch there was no queues that we experienced. You will quickly ascend in a matter of a few minutes. I am not good with heights normally but it was quite relaxing going up. The views are stunning on the way up and at the top. We spent about an hour up there or so. Though people planning on really walking around may want more time. I personally wore a t-shirt, being from England even when we came in here in June it was actually quite nice and cool but not uncomfortable. Would...

Situated at Sass Pordoi, at the elevation of 2950 meters, the "terrace" provides magnificent view of the Dolomites and the glimpse of other, remote mountain ranges (Hohe Tauern). A cable car lifts visitors from Passo Pordoi within minutes. There is the terrace on the east and a smaller one on the west. The restaurant here works most of the year and offers everything needed. Adventurers can continue from here to Piz Boè and other summits or even through the mountain range all the way to Colfosco.
