L'Eremo di San Valentino a Gargnano (Brescia) è davvero una meta splendida per una camminata nella natura! È facilmente raggiungibile in circa 40 minuti partendo da Sasso, una piccola frazione di Gargnano. Il sentiero è un po' esposto in alcuni tratti, ma assolutamente non difficile e fattibile anche da chi non è particolarmente esperto di trekking. Lungo il percorso e all'arrivo si può godere di una vista meravigliosa sul Lago di Garda e di un'atmosfera di pace unica. Vicino all'eremo è presente un'area attrezzata per picnic, perfetta per fermarsi a riposare e godersi il panorama. L'interno del piccolo eremo è visitabile: si raccomanda il massimo rispetto per non danneggiarlo e preservarne la bellezza. Un'escursione breve ma emozionante, assolutamente consigliata!

The Hermitage of San Valentino in Gargnano (Brescia) is truly a wonderful destination for a nature walk! It is easily reachable in about 40 minutes starting from Sasso, a small hamlet of Gargnano. The trail is slightly exposed in some sections, but absolutely not difficult and suitable even for those who are not very experienced in hiking. Along the way and upon arrival, you can enjoy breathtaking views of Lake Garda and a unique atmosphere of peace. Near the hermitage, there is a picnic area where you can rest and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Very comfortable and good beginners hike to this wonderfull church. You can go in the church and look at the old interior. A women from Sasso told us it was build in the 17th century and there was always living a person there until the 19th century. Very nice place. Very important: the hike (feratta) on the north of the curch is pretty difficult. Beter to take the shortest route on the east side. It goes all the way up and then goes down to the east for a few 100meter....

Walked from Sasso to it. Accidentally went the hard route which was a little perilous. Be careful to choose and stick to the easy route if you need. Was quite scary at times, went easy route on way back to Sasso. Amazing views of lake Garda on the walk and at the place. Very interesting place of a hermit....
