Parco Naturale Paneveggio Pale di San Martino — Attraction in Comunità di Primiero

One of the best places to ski in the Dolomiti. There is a lot of place to ski in the Dolomiti area but San Martino and Passo Rolle are the best. There is plenty of parking in San Martino but fewer in Passo Rolle. The view from the mounting is amazing, you can find a good restaurant in the ski resort where serve local food. I can definitely recommend going to Passo Rolle at least for one day, the ski resort is smaller than San Martino but the view is better and the snow is also better, it is just 15 minutes by car from San Martino but there aren’t a lot of parking place. I recommend skiing in the Paradiso track is the best in Passo Rolle. You can find a lot of good restaurants in San Martino with local dishes. To get in San Martino is better to pass from Vicenza, the road is in better condition and you have fewer chances to find snow. The city is small with a cozy city center, there are a lot of supermarkets and services. It is not easy to find parking in the city center but there is a good bus service from the parking of the ski resort. There are a lot of shops for rent...

Panorami con colori mozzafiato e bellissima esperienza sensoriale in questo Parco nonostante molti punti siano stati distrutti dal disastro dello scorso anno. Abbiamo visto tutti alla televisione come gli abeti del famoso Parco dei Violini siano stati spezzati e sradicati ma vederlo dal vero è stato davvero un bruttissimo ritorno alla realtà... Le aree distrutte sono tante e molto ampie ma per fortuna ben gestite da tanti lavoratori che instancabili si dedicano a ripulirle. Proprio accanto all'ingresso del Parco, a protezione dell'area di lavoro, stavano alzando una "paratia" raffigurante lo scempio degli alberi caduti. Dietro si lavora con tanta passione ma l'immagine invita a non dimenticare come in pochi minuti tutta questa natura è stata spezzata... Dentro al bosco siamo piccoli piccoli rispetto a questi altissimi abeti di legno rosso che si stagliano verso il cielo, in alcuni punti sono fitti e i raggi del sole non riescono ad arrivare fino a terra poi si diradano fino ad arrivare ai sentieri per Malghe, Baite e Rifugi adatti anche a famiglie. Passando in auto lungo la strada, si costeggia il corso del fiume Trevignolo con magnifici scorci e le mucche al pascolo attraversano la strada tranquillamente incuranti delle auto. Non da meno, dal parcheggio del Centro Visitatori in direzione Bellamonte, anche una riserva di cervi è una bella attrazione per tutte le età. Amazing national park. I recommend doing trail 709 starting at welsperg lake, then across to cima sedole, linking to 711 to complete the loop. The best hike I've ever done. Don't listen to the guides, it will take 8 hours if you're fit and healthy and enjoy a good hike. It has metal ropes and a few ladders, buy anyone under 45 should be able to do it.
