Livigno to Lake Alpisella along a wide, dirt mule track with no support difficulties. Traveled both on foot and by mountain bike and e-bike. Certainly more tiring on foot, the climb begins at the Alpisella restaurant after leaving the Livigno dairy and skirting the lake. You initially climb with two or three hairpin bends and then undertake an almost flat section up to a bridge that crosses a glacial stream and takes you to the other side of the mountain. Yes, here the route is pleasant and not at all challenging. Once past the peak, the climb begins which will never abandon us for over an hour's walk until the end of the pine forest. Once the pine forest is over, you go up again with a certain slope and the view gradually widens until you reach the Alpisella lake from which you descend towards the artificial lakes of Cancano which however cannot be seen. We then reached altitude from the start at 1900 meters to 2400 meters in less than 2 hours of walking. Once at altitude the route towards Cancano is almost entirely flat but is still 1 hour and 20 minutes away.
