The Dolomites is one of my favorite ski destinations. Nature is here at her best and you are able to enjoy it while cruising down. Not to mention the excellent Italian cuisine!

The Dolomites are endless and there are so many places to visit. So succes garanteed where ever you go. But if you have the change to visit the Cinque Torri, take it with both hands! It is a highlight of the Super8 ski tour which is officially part of the Cortina d’Ampezzo ski area. It is hands down one of the most senic ski tours you can make. This place is less crowded because it is more difficult to reach. You need to take a bus, car or taxi to get there. The ski area is also accessible if you are comming from the Altabadia ski area. Here you can ski to Armentarola and take a taxi from there. They will drop you at the Lagazoi lift which is also part of the Super8 ski tour. From here on you are able to ski to Cinque Torri (assuming you have a dolomiti...

I’ve travelled to dozens of countries & hands down this is one of the most beautiful places on earth. Early October at the tail end of the summer hiking season so no crowds. A taxi from Cortina station will cost 50 euro. Take the chair lift up from parking lot to the peak- Have an espresso at the peak restraint to take it all in before you begin. Hiking the Circuit around the 5 peaks will take 1 hour or 2 with pictures and taking in views & see the bunkers manned by heroes from world war 1. If you have more time I HIGHLY recommend hiking from here to Giao Pass. One of the best bikes you came take on the region. This will take 2 hours of up and downhill hiking, 3 with pic taking. You will pass by some of the most stunning vistas in the Dolomites. Halfway there you may see a small hole on the rocks along the path with a little alter figurines to the Virgin Mary (see if you can spot it!). From Giao pass back to Cortina is ~50 Euro by taxi. Enjoy.
