Unfortunately the skiing experience in Cortina is completely ruined by the disorganization of it’s ski facilities.
The buses connecting the ski lifts were not running because of a ‘lunch break’ from 12.30 to 2.30pm. After asking on the other side if Faloria was open, and taking a taxi here, we were told there it was closed due to wind.
If the infrastructure and organization was of any quality, I wouldn’t have to waste my time paying for taxis back and forth due to ~15km/h winds that cripple their entire...
Read moreThe cable car was prompt, on schedule, and runs consistently thdt you never have to wait too long. It runs on schedule so just check the schedule and plan to arrive on time for a departure. You switch cars halfway up the mountain. The staff is friendly and will direct you. If you’re skiing, but your lift ticket only ahead of time to save 5%. There is an automated kiosk at the cable car station that scans the QR code from your confirmation email and immediately prints your lift card....
