We came here with three friends and had the best time. We booked the wine tasting in English, and started with a tour through the old winery. Our guide was lovely, the tour was very private as she showed us around with no other guests, and we could ask a lot of questions.
Afterwards, we sat down in the cute garden, and were served five wine-"courses": white, rosé, light red, red and dessert wine. For every course, they offered us a selection of two different wines. It was also possible to split it, i.e. one person chooses one and the other two get the other wine in each course, giving even more variety to try from.
We were also served some antipasti and snacks, one for each wine course, which we did not expect. It was very delicious and mainly vegetarian (except for one small dish), which was great as well.
In the end, you can also visit the shop and purchase the wines. We also tasted a little bit of olive oil.
Overall it was a great experience, tasteful but not too fancy, and very friendly people. We recommend to plan 2-2,5 hours for the wine tasting, you can tell them to leave a few minutes in between each wine. Thanks a lot to team...

Magical Experience at L'Astore Masseria!
Or maybe I was just tipsy! 😉
In all seriousness, my visit to L'Astore Masseria was absolutely amazing! Beckie was incredibly informative, guiding us through a delightful tasting of the many different wines produced from their own grapes. Each sip was a journey, and the property itself was stunning—truly a feast for the eyes. And the cats? They were like adorable, attention-craving children, adding a charming touch to the entire experience.
One of the highlights was discovering their locally produced honey—such a delicious surprise that perfectly complemented the tasting experience. The scenic drive to the winery set the tone for what turned out to be a memorable day. The attention to detail in explaining the intricacies of both wine and olive oil production was impressive. This is an experience that will linger in my memories, and I can’t recommend it enough. If you’re in the area, L'Astore Masseria is an...
Read moreBeautiful farm to stay at and located in a very strategic place in relation to the area. Breakfast every morning was generous and you'll be sure to enjoy some local foods. The winery and olive oil tour is very interesting and worth the wine tasting at the end. The nearby town is quaint and has some hidden gems of restaurants. Giving one less star because we couldn't pay for our stay by card (only by bank transfer or with cash, and paying cash for a hotel stay isn't convenient) and because the masseria hosted a concert over the last weekend of our stay but neglected to inform us until the day of. If we had known in advance, alternative accommodation would've been selected because it's not enjoyable to sleep 100m away from a concert. Would recommend to stay here overall, but just check if there's local...
