Domobianca — Attraction in Domodossola

It's a good ski resort as it has multiple activities for even the little ones and different ski routes but the snow is artificial due to no snow fall this winter the ski lift is 2 person which isn't a massive deal but could be bigger. The slopes are really steep no colour difficulty for the slopes the map and staff say that the slopes are medium difficulty which isn't reflected correctly as they're at least a black slope. The ski pass cards are also non refundable and the slopes conditions are also disappointing as there's pure ice on the middle of the slope and loads of heaven and wet snow on the sides which make the skis hard to control and it's also hard to stop even in hockey or pizza as you just start sliding further down and I don't recommend it for beginners or intermediate skiers as it's just too difficult but at least the staff is friendly and the...

Ski paths were not as good as claimed. I fully understand that beginning of the season 2025 is suffering from lack of snow and it makes skiing very difficult. However plenty of ice under patches of wet "artificial" snow is killing the entire pleasant of skiing. There's no visibility route markings leading our family to face black steep and icy route down the slope with two inexperienced children's. Mid level tracks are usually fine. In my opinion not worth 90€ for a 2hrs (2+2 family). Also, ski passes (cards) are not refundable! Car park available- free of charge. Quite busy but there's secondary car park available little bit further.

Route leading to this place is quite steep and can be very challenging for 2wd cars, would say snow chains are must there...

Kudos to management! Even through an almost snow-less winter like this one they've managed to keep two chairlifts and a skilift open during every week, and open two more chairs during the weekend (which I personally avoid due to the "tourists invasion". Either way, one can easily put in four hours of skiing at the very convenient 21.50€ flat rate, inclusive of insurance (mandatory). The two lodges, one restaurant and a panini-and-pizza bar present the chance for very decent food and RnR with beautiful views to a good stretch of the Ossola mountains.
