Fantastic tour, where we learned a lot about how this cooperativo produces nearly 1m bottles of wine while maintaining strong quality (control). The passito is excellent, and it was great to try the different grape varieties from the classic and premium ranges. We had the best time today at Eisacktaler Kellerei. The wines are special and so delicious, with a lot of variety in white wines. The staff is so accomodating and friendly, making our time in the area memorable, even with a last minute request for a tour and tasting. Alex had great explanations and advice regarding the different wines during the tasting, and Manuela took the time to give us a short tour and answer our questions. Schöner Verkaufsraum, modern gestaltet. Haben eine Weinprobe gemacht und wurden dabei sehr gut und freundlich beraten. Haben dann dort auch mehrere Kisten Wein gekauft. Am nächsten Tag waren wir in Feldthurns im Spar-Supermarkt und mussten dort mit Entsetzen feststellen, dass dort die identischen Weine von der Kellerei günstiger verkauft werden! Der Weißwein mit 0,30€ die Flasche und beim Rotwein mit bis zu 1,40€ die Flasche. Das kann für mein Verständnis nicht sein! Ich fahre direkt zum Erzeuger, hole den Wein dort selbst vor Ort ab und zahle dann noch mehr Geld als im Supermarkt! Sorry, dass ist schade und nach meiner Meinung nicht das richtige Geschäftsmodell.
