We had the pleasure of visiting the Fazio Winery as a spirited group of 10, and it was truly a highlight of our trip! From the moment we arrived, Valeria greeted us with her radiant enthusiasm and guided us through the winery’s impressive operation. We saw the inner workings of the winery, and marveled at the bottling lines. Valeria’s passion and expertise made the tour both informative and incredibly enjoyable.

The wine tasting itself was a delightful journey through some of the most exquisite local wines, perfectly complemented by a sumptuous bruschetta lunch we had pre-booked. Each wine was paired beautifully with the flavors of the region, making every sip and bite a culinary adventure.

If you are seriously into wine tasting, ie want to learn about the vineyard, the winery processes and the wines, then this is the place to go. Valarie hosts an exceptional experience. She was incredibly patient with all our questions and very knowledgeable. She loves wine, and the best thing was that she was not afraid to say which of the wines she preferred herself. They were all very good, but obviously everybody has their favourites, and she was prepared to share her choices, and why. We were even introduced to the owners who were very gracious. This was the best wine tasting experience we have had in the whole of Sicily (we run a family owned winery in South Australia, so we look for opportunities to check out other family wineries in our travels...

We recently visited the Fazio Winery as a group of 4. We were met by Valeria who enthusiastically showed us around the entire winery operation - from the vineyard, through the winery to the bottling lines. Really amazing set up. Very professional. Afterwards we tasted a number of wines accompanied by the Sicilian charcuterie lunch that we had booked. Absolutely amazing wines and food. It was an absolute highlight of our trip to Sicily and special thanks to Valeria for her generous hospitality and interest.
