Su Sirboni Beach — Attraction in Gàiru/Gairo

Honestly, it looked better in pictures. I booked this beach because of the reviews in the Heart of Sardinia app. There is a 10 minute downhill hike from parking to the beach. The entrances are all blocked except for one. Plenty of on-street parking but getting you farther away from the entrance. It is a sandy beach with red rocky portions which is its appeal. Splendida spiaggia di sabbia bianca e rosa, incorniciata da rocce rosse. Non è grandissima e nonostante non sia comodissima da raggiungere è abbastanza affollata. Il fondale è basso e ricco di pesci, visibili soprattutto appena girato gli scogli. Portatevi il minimo indispensabile senza dimenticare acqua e cibo perché non servita da bar. Per arrivare ci sono due sentieri: il primo è più breve ma bisogna camminare per un tratto tra gli scogli; il secondo è più lungo (circa 10-15 minuti a piedi) ma molto più panoramico e piacevole..da lì si può arrivare anche a cala e lunas...Soprattutto da percorrere con la mountain-bike...Ho dato 4 stelle e non 5 per colpa del resort abbandonato che si affaccia sulla baia.

Stunning pink and white sand beach, framed by red rocks. It is not very large and although it is not very convenient to reach, it is quite crowded. The seabed is low and full of fish, visible above all as soon as you turn the rocks. Bring the bare minimum without forgetting water and food because it is not served by the bar. To get there, there are two paths: the first is shorter but you have to walk for a while among the rocks; the second is longer (about 10-15 minutes on foot) but much more panoramic and pleasant..from there you can also get to cala and lunas ... Especially to go with the mountain bike ... I gave 4 stars and not 5 because of the abandoned resort...

Beautiful beach with sand part and very clean, transparent water. As it's quite shallow the water was really nice temperature beginning of June. It's very picturesque and surrounded with red granite. Parked on the road, and walked 200 meters. No toilets or amenities. Still this beach is one of my favourites in Sardinia because of its character and very nice water...
