Beach 300 Steps — Attraction in Gaeta

From the top you’ll see a sign that says the last beach, l’ultima spiaggia, with another sign that says it’s 300 steps down to the bottom. Nowhere does it say that it’s a nudist beach. Nor does the owners of the property or those that manage it indicate that it’s a nudist beach. Instead they want to collect your money, make a profit and call it a day. I have nothing against nudist beaches however I do have something against the dishonesty that is displayed here. At least give me the choice of whether I want to pay to go onto a beach and see all of nature on display for everyone beautiful or not but instead I got stuck. Sono stata qui ieri insieme al mio ragazzo, poiché dalle foto a lui sembrava carino e volevamo comunque andare in un posto diverso. Arriviamo all'ora di pranzo e decidiamo subito di prendere da mangiare, e su quello niente da dire. Panini con prodotti molto buoni. Il problema sorge al parcheggio, poiché abbiamo provato a parcheggiare in quello privato da dieci euro, ma ci è stato detto che per mettere la macchina era obbligatorio prendere anche il lettino e l'ombrellone. Letteralmente il ragazzo ha detto che DOBBIAMO avere l'ombrellone per entrare. Ha chiesto se avessimo il nostro, in caso contrario dovevamo prenderlo per forza da loro (non vi insulto perché sono gentile). Noi eravamo venuti per metterci sulla spiaggia libera quindi siamo tornati su e abbiamo deciso di metterla in una piazzola a pochi metri dall'entrata. Risultato? Una multa per divieto di sosta in un'area SENZA IL CARTELLO DI DIVIETO DI SOSTA. Ora io non so come la pensate ma qualcosa mi puzza. Tra l'altro se vi si paga 10 euro di parcheggio senza i restanti 14 di lettino e ombrellone non vedo dove sia il problema. Fatto sta che ve la farei pagare a voi e farei reclamo per la mancanza di quel segnale che, ripeto, non esiste. Non c'è. Non avremmo potuto parcheggiare da nessun'altra parte se non in mezzo alla strada. Siamo comunque scesi in spiaggia perché ci eravamo fatti 3 ore di macchina ma fosse stato più vicino già all'obbligo dell'accoppiata parcheggio/lettini ce ne saremmo tornati indietro. O dite al comune di mettere quel segnale o togliete questo mix perché in entrambi i casi non è giusto. Mai più. (Si, siete voi comunque). A chiunque legga questo commento, credetemi perché è così. Portatevi l'ombrellone vostro se volete parcheggiare perché...

About 2.5 or 3 hours from Rome. Locates between sperlonga and city of Gaeta. I'm not sure how to get here by publich transpo, cause we came with a car but you can ride a train to the city of gaeta or sperlonga.

As the name says, you need to walk down the 300 step stairs to reach the beach but it is worthit i say! Parking is available with a fee 13 euro, entrance is 2 euro per head, 5 euro for umbrella and beach bed. Beache closes at 7pm (19:00)
