Cantine Luretta — Attraction in Gazzola

Absolutely amazing. My partner and I recently did a tour of the wine cellar followed by a tasting and loved every minute of it.

Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and spoke perfect English, describing the types and processes for the local wines as well as how the vineyard works. She was very accommodating and friendly and really made it an enjoyable experience.

As for the wine itself, each of those we tried were very good and it was difficult to select a favourite from the wide range. Our guide was very generous and talked us through the wines as we tried them, also giving us some delicious local ham and cheese.

Obviously all the wine is available to purchase and we only felt limited by our baggage allowance! The prices were less than we were expecting and great value for the quality, particularly compared to the UK.

Castle and Cantina Luretta surely will be one of our favourite memories. The tour and degustation were incredibly interesting.

We were at the basement of the castle to see this amazing view of whole walls aging wine bottles. We were told about all processes and curiosities of production. Then we went to the Cantine which was equal impressive, full of antics and art. The stories of it and its owners were really inspiring and interesting. But the best part was of course tasting the wine during all this time. Truly unforgetable experience.

Eccellenza della campagna piacentina! Avete presente quelle aziende vinicole che stressano terreno e viti per ottenere il massimo dell'uva per ettaro e che vogliono inondare il mercato con i loro prodotti ... ecco ... tutta un'altra cosa! Se avrete la fortuna di visitare quest'azienda ed essere ospiti della Signora Carla, scoprirete nelle sue parole l'amore per la natura e per la realizzazione di un prodotto, il vino, che va ben oltre la mera attività commerciale. Produzione limitata, totalmente bio, affinamento pluriennale in botti di rovere, metodo classico con rifermentazione sui lieviti in bottiglia, sono parole che hanno un senso ben preciso per ogni appassionato di vini, che sa benissimo che la vita è troppo breve per bere un calice di vino men che ottimo. Dalla visita in cantina uscirete con la convinzione che la qualità e la perfezione sono il fine ultimo della Luretta, da perseguire negli anni con amore, passione e cura metodica dei particolari.
