Bagno Moreno — Attraction in Grosseto

Very rude and unreasonable restauranteur. Ordered Spaghetti in ragu sauce, was told it would take about 10-12 minutes. I was fine to wait for that. After 20 minutes, still nothing, so I asked him nicely and he said 2 more minutes. Another 5-10 minutes past and still nothing. So after waiting 30 minutes for what I was told would only take 10-12 minutes, for something as simple, as pre-cooked as spaghetti bolognese, I demanded to cancel my order and asked for a refund. I got my money back, but then he suddenly took the spaghetti out despite me reminding him again that I didn't want it. He still placed it in front of me, and then rudely said 'Gentleman!... Gentleman!' and stared at me.

Now, if this is any indication of what the Italian service or tourism industry is like, then this country is going down. Instead of apologising for the overdue and for lying about the waiting period, the restauranteur actually cast the blame on the customer, and I was in no way being pushy; I simply stood my ground and wouldn't let him mess with me.

The worst thing a waiter or a caterer can do is to give customer the feeling that 'it is YOUR pleasure that YOU are being served by ME.', when the right attitude should be 'it is my pleasure that I will be serving you today.'

Best stay away from this restaurant unless you enjoy having your caterer waste your time and...
