Kite Beach Fiumara — Attraction in Grosseto

I just passed by on my way back home to Germany and I hoped to get a bit on the water for 1 or 2 hours here. But right when I rigged up my kite I was told by a guy that the complete beach here is for the kite school only and I am not allowed to kite here. But I could make a day membership for 10 Euro. At this moment it was 15:30 in the afternoon. I asked him 10 Euro for 1 or 2 hours just for today? Yes, he said... Obviously money money money is the most important... I spent more than 3 months in Italy for kiting at various spots from Liguria, Puglia, Calabria and Latinum. Everywhere I was wellcome and everybody was hospitable and friendly, but not here.... Thank you guys for this poor...

Ciao a tutti. Voglio essere onesto ed obiettivo. Faccio kite da anni ed ho girato tutto il mondo, pertanto ne ho visti di posti, di spot e di zone organizzate. Innanzitutto è d'obbligo e oggettivo che la spiaggia di Fiumara è davvero bella pulita e immersa nella natura. Il vento entra bene sia col maestrale che con lo scirocco. Il posto insomma è un gioiellino.

Purtroppo devo essere altrettanto onesto con la scuola kitebeach fiumara... Innanzitutto è uno dei pochi posti al mondo dove su spiagge diciamo libere occorre pagare 10 euro per un assistenza direi inesistente. Questo su tutti gli spot della zona ed è davvero assurdo. Vabbe, senza andare oltre, il voto che do riguarda il modo di atteggiarsi degli istruttori e dei gestori. Il kite deve essere uno stile di vita deve essere un modo di socializzare e di condividere posti stupendi. Purtroppo in molti posti e qui è molto evidente, sembra essersi trasformato in un club di fighetti che si credono superiori agli altri per non so quale motivo. Sembra un club di local che accettano nelle loro cerchia solo i conoscenti o chi spende di più.

Consiglio vivamente di tornare al motivo per cui una persona sceglie questo sport. Libertà natura e divertimento.

Non si può sempre fare i bei tenebrosi che in spiaggia fanno gli splendidi ma ti guardano dalla testa ai...

I spent a few days on that beach in August. I have been kiting for 10 years and seen how kite schools work all around the world. The kite instructors in this school are the worst I have ever seen. They teach in a forbidden area, that is full of swimmers. I've seen instructors dropping kites over swimmers too many times. They don't have the appropriate level to teach.
