Tenuta Belguardo — Attraction in Grosseto

This was an absolute fantastic experience! We had the best time. Matteo provided us with great indications on how to get to the winery. He was polite and the best part of the experience! Great level of languages as he spoke to us both in perfect Spanish and English. The vineyards were mesmerizing and beautiful scenery and we got to go around and learn about the history and properties of the land and production of the wine. We then enjoyed the 6 wine tasting which was fantastic. Matteo brought out a great variety of Italian products to accompany the wine which was to die for. On the morning of September 29th, we, three friends from Vienna, Austria (no wine experts but true wine lovers), visited Tenuta Belguardo not knowing, not expecting that this would be our most memorable visit of the 6 vineries we had on our “to do-list”.

Besides the beautiful location on the top of the hill with its welcoming interior it’s the people that make the difference in service! We were truly lucky and privileged that Matteo shared with us his incredible knowledge about the various aspects of winemaking at your site and in the Maremma in general. I could not recommend more this wine tasting experience. We had an incredible time and it was mostly thanks to the hospitality and kindness of Matteo. He spoke fluent Spanish and English which we really appreciated as group of Spanish girls. Matteo brought us a variety of wine and italian charcuterie which was absolutely delicious. He also showed us around the vineyard which was beautiful. I would highly recommend to anyone in the area and look forward to going back! Beautiful...
