Capocchia d'ù purpu — Attraction in La Maddalena

Beautiful, but many other and better places. Sand is stoney/rocky (more like gravel) and is not fine at all - not sure where all the people with the reviews who says it is fine sand has been or have experienced other places.

Getting there is a pain in the a..! Road is completely off-road, with huge holes, big stones, etc. You can park almost next to the beach, but so do yourself a favor and drive all the way there, as walking there is a nightmare. When you have parked, you must find the sign with the beach, it is located next to a huge rock. You will have to go around the around, through the little path, which will take you 2-3 min. The beach isn’t very big and fills up quite quickly, we chose to sunbathe across the beach along the cliffs for a more peaceful experience. The road to the beach is in poor condition, some patches with asphalt but mostly gravel/bigger stones (no problem for cars with higher ride height or mountain bikes).

Recommend to bring some snacks/food/water since there are no restaurants/food trucks close by.
