Perla del Garda — Attraction in Lonato del Garda

We visited 24 September 2024. Our vist was very enjoyable. Lovely wine - red, rose, white and bubbles - in a charming setting. The man tasting wine with us was most kind. The workers had just completed the harvest - a great success. They celebrated with their own fine bubbly white wine and the man guiding our tasting was kind enough to share some with us. He had guests at several tables tasting wine and he bounced from table to table, in German there, English with us, Italian with others, all with kindnes and an impressive ability to explain their winemaking.

I went on a wine tasting tour with my friends and it was such a great experience! The surroundings and the winery were beautiful, the tour was very informative, the tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and such a wonderful, welcoming and pleasant person. She made the experience a five star experience for sure! I don’t actually drink alcohol myself, but I got some nice apple juice instead, the food was great and my friends really enjoyed the wine tasting. Their olive oil was also excellent. Our hostess, Aurora, was uber knowledgeable and friendly. We started with a walk around the main building. The views across their vineyards were beautiful. It was also nice to learn that their wines are from grapes on their own property and bottled on-site. Not a common process anymore. We were especially lucky to be there during the harvest in late September. Yes, there are older vineyards in the area, but few can offer the whole experience like Aurora did for...
