Lotzorai beach, not Girasole 😉and that is officially on documents and also people perceived, S'Isula Manna of Lotzorai, on Lotzorai territory. please do not bring up embarrassing controversies here.. Long beach, quiet because you have a lot of space so you can choose not to be near others, by law all over Italy, no dogs are allowed on ALL beaches UNLESS otherwise stated - in this case of S'isula Manna beach, NO dogs ALLOWED (safety and health reasons, no one cleanes their feces, people! and it's full of kids playing in the sand). Some people ignore the law (you can see that all year round, in the last days everyday!) and they can be fined AND there is an actual designated dog beach further north, at Iscrixedda, if I am not mistaken), amazing water, amazing sand, I appreciate even slightly coarser sand.. a lovely pine forest "pineta" along the beach is perfect for cooling down at lunchtime, with wooden tables and benches.. There's a nice beach bar close by, just like 100-200 m North.. On the other side of the pinewood there's a nice river.. All you need.. With a splendid view of mountaineous limestone coastline to the north... Baunei.. The only drawback is created by people using the pineta as public toilets.. Or even tourists camping there, which, again, is illegal. Law should be enforced and applied. There are no toilets, but that is not an excuse to use the pineta as a toilet! Shame on them! Please help preserve this natural beauty, it belongs to all of us, no matter the municipality! A chent'annusu e...

Surely one of the best beach around Àrbatax, worth driving to. The beach is very spacious, coarse sand (do not visit if you prefer thin sand), clear water and a large pineta (pines tree forest) to enjoy shade. Not crowded at all when we visited, hardly no tourists mainly locals. There is a small snack-bar to enjoy drinks and food - staff do not...
