Spiaggia Zia Culumba (Capo Testa) — Attraction in Lungòni/Santa Teresa Gallura

This was one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever been to in the whole Mediterranean. Le foto si riferiscono all'istmo di capo testa, la spiaggia di zia colomba è una delle due che ne costeggiano i lati, in particolare venendo da Santa Teresa è la spiaggia che si intravede alla fine del ponte sulla destra. È la spiaggia più protetta dai venti, infatti fu scelta dai romani come porto per far attraccare le navi che trasportavano a Roma le colonne di granito fatte proprio nelle antiche cave romane di Capo Testa. Proseguendo idealmente la spiaggia, seguite il sentiero che costeggia il mare, potrete vedere ancora i resti delle cave con le rocce tagliate geometricamente, i buchi squadrati e allineati nella pietra in cui si inserivano dei cunei di legno che bagnati con acqua, si gonfiavano fino a spezzare la roccia. Gli scarti delle colonne venute male o rotte durante la lavorazione, sono ancora lì mentre le colonne riuscite bene venivano fatte rotolare giù per una "strada scivolo" intagliata nel granito fino al mare nelle barche.
