One of the most beautifull hikes in the area. Start walking at the Mattmark until you get to the status where you can go down with lifts into Italy and back up again. The statue marks the top of the pass and there is a restaurant nearby on Italian soil. There is plenty of snow, some pretty lakes and even wildlife in the area. Very pretty view above the clouds looking upon several peaks.

Nicht nur von oben eine wunderschöne Aussicht, sondern auch auf dem ganzen Weg dorthin. Das Gipfelkreuz auch eins der schönsten, die ich bislang gesehen habe. Der Berg liegt bei etwas über 2.800 Metern. Ich bin von dem Stausee Mattmark hochgewandert. Die Strecke ist sehr anfängerfreundlich aufgebaut und der perfekte Berg, um sich an höhere Berge rann zu trauen.

19/08 Presa la funivia fino alla cima del Monte Moro, purtroppo la giornata era nuvolosa e ci ha impedito di goderci il panorama sul Monte Rosa. Ciononostante è stata un’esperienza incredibile, alla portata di (quasi) tutti, in cui eravamo immersi in un paesaggio lunare dove ci siamo persi a esplorare le vicinanze dominate dalla Madonna delle Neve.

I went up from Mattmark on foot, as there is no cable car, the views are stunning !! I loved it, I hope to repeat it !! It's a wonderful place that I will...
