We were told about this place by a couple of American winelovers yesterday. So we drove all the way to Montalcino to explore the city and after that went to the Casato Prime Donne. What a beautiful scenic route to the winery, through the hills full of wineyards. The wineshop looked closed, but a short call opened the doors for a spontaneous wine tasting.
