Wine Tasting Review:

Lets review this by looking into three main index:

Wine and its food We got to taste three kind of wines. We got to try, Juli'o a balanced wine, Rosso di Montalcino, and the rare Brunello. I personally love the Juli'o that we bought three bottles of it when we left. The Brunello was amazing but of it was on the higher end of the price (50ish EUR). I am no wine connoisseur, but the tasting went super well with the food that was given. We got a full meal during our visit. One big platter of antipasti that serves also for vegetarian people. Then continued with a great pasta with ragu sauce! The pasta was definetely one of the best. Then closing with good dessert. 5/5 expereience.

Atmosphere The place was nearby Montalcino. If you dont use car, it may pose tricky to go there. The surrounding area of the vineyard was beautiful nonetheless. The winery itself was built upon an old castle, so the building was beauftil and aesthetically pleasing. We got to see lots part of remaining history and roads that have great significances in history. The castle was well maintained and the winery really was a beautiful place to visit. 5/5 spot

Service We were assisted by Paolo. He was a knowledgable guide, he knows his way around the winery and the process, As food technologist and also wine enthusiast, we were satisified with all the knowledge. During the course of wine tasting, we were explained sufficiently about the wine and the story behind it. He was a lovely guide, but it would be great to have him around a bit longer. He sometimes not around, so it was challenging to ask more about the wine. Finally, everyone in the premises was kind and attentive to our need and helped a lot in getting the wine....

This place is absolutely breathtaking. You can literally feel the history of this beautiful castle. It is family-run, so you get an intimate experience, accompanied with some of the best wine I've had in Italy. They are wonderful to work with, if you want wine shipped to your home- wherever it may be. I brought both my parents here on separate trips, and will continue to go back everytime we return to Italy. It's that worth-it. Alice is fabulous!! We were late and a bit lost, and she eased all of our worries, and ensured that she would wait for us and helped us find the destination. Tomas is part of the family and owner, and he can tell you every interesting story of the home and area. It's a magical experience, and a total gem to find!! If you're even CLOSE to this area, I highly recommend it!!! It's well worth the trip off the...

We had a lovely afternoon at Tricerchi the estate is absolutely beautiful, and we were lucky to have the best guide. Alice made the experience truly special; she was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also wonderful with kids. Her explanations were engaging, and we thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her.

Lunch was delicious, and the whole place has a warm, cozy atmosphere. Nena, the estate’s sweet dog, kept us company during lunch and made the experience even more memorable. Everyone at the Castello was welcoming and kind, always smiling. We truly loved our time there.

We booked last minute, and Tommaso was incredibly helpful in getting everything arranged. We’re really happy with the experience...

This is a special property. The owner, Tommaso Squarcia, is the guardian of this historic estate which his family acquired in 1441. The vineyards surrounding the property are beautiful and the wines are excellent. I own a winery (Flanagan Wines) in Sonoma County and I really appreciate the wines Tommaso is making from this remarkable estate. I highly recommend booking a lunch and tasting here.

I would warmly recommend to visit the winery when visiting Montalcino. It’s a small vineyard but the wine tasting was very private and authentic. The tour was very interesting and their Brunello is so good. You can expect breathtaking views and a wonderful old castle. Big thanks to Emmanuele for the incredible tour.
