Het was gesloten op het moment dat wij daar waren, maar het dorp is zeer zeker de moeite waard om te bezoeken. Er is boven in het dorp bijna geen parkeergelegenheid, blijf dus onderaan het dorp en loop naar boven. In het dorp zit ook nog een goede bar/restaurant, dus ook voor een hapje en een drankje is er voldoende gelegenheid. Het dorp is prachtig gerestaureerd en alleen dat al is een bezoek waard.

In het dorp zit ook nog een goede bar/restaurant, dus ook voor een hapje en een drankje is er voldoende gelegenheid. Het dorp is prachtig gerestaureerd en alleen dat al is een bezoek waard.

Il castello si trova in cima al comune di Monte Santa Maria tiberina, dopo aver percorso circa 10 km in salita. Un ampio spazio vi accoglie davanti al castello da cui si domina tutta la vallata. La parte antica del paese è da visitare assolutamente, soprattutto a piedi. Vi consiglio scarpe comode ed abbigliamento adeguato perché è piuttosto alto per cui ventilato.
