This was by far our favorite activity we did in Tuscany and the best tasting & tour we’ve ever been on! Our family went in November which is considered “off season” but we loved it - not crowded, a little cool (temp), and because it was just us we had a lengthy tour! See the olive oil production in detail, hear the rich history of the vineyard & castle (yes it’s all at a CASTLE! What’s not to love?!), and prepare to have your mind blown with facts & details from the wonderful Carolina! She is incredible, an expert, professional and so kind. We had an amazing tasting - their wines are some of the best I’ve ever tasted - and took several bottles with us afterward! We cannot recommend this place enough - even if you’re not close by…call, book a tasting and DRIVE THERE NOW! You won’t regret it. The views, the wine, the experience, the guides & staff, everything is wonderful! 10 out of 10!

My wife and I were fortunate enough to tour the historic and very beautiful Castel Poppiano with the amazing guide Janine. We later discovered that our guide had worked in many capacities for this estate for many years, as she shared her encyclopaedic knowledge and boundless enthusiasm for wines and oils of the Tuscan region. We have toured many wineries in many regions, and somehow Janine was able to share her passion for great oil and excellent wine in such a way that we hung on her every word. We learnt so much about the estate and the special care that is taken by the ancient and royal family who run this lovely winery to produce exceptional products. If you have two hours and you are nearby, please consider meeting Janine and experiencing this wonderful place. Highly recommended.

Our winery tour in the rolling hills of Tuscany was truly unforgettable. The setting at the historic castle was straight out of a fairytale, and our guide, Carolina, made the experience even more special with her warmth, knowledge, and passion for the wines. We even had the incredible honor of meeting the Count of the castle, which made the day feel all the more authentic and unique. The wines themselves were exceptional—rich, flavorful, and perfectly paired with the surroundings. If you’re in Tuscany, this is an absolute must-do experience!

My wife and I had the pleasure of attending a tour of the lovely Conti Guicciardini site. The tour covered wine, olive oil, and vin santo operations spanning every floor of Castello di Poppiano and its tower. The 360 degree view of the surrounding country was one of the highlights of our visit. Our wonderful hostess provided us a detailed account of the winery's history and processes, and patiently answered our many questions. The tastings involved all three product lines, along with wonderful salamis and cheese. We look forward to returning to Conti Guicciardini with family...
