My husband and I went here on a wine tour in Tuscany. This is our absolute favorite winery we visited. It started while driving onto the gravel drive and were greeted with a smile and wave from the family. The hospitality shown just made the experience that much more memorable. My wife and I visited Tenuta Barbadoro as part of a winery tour group in October 2024. The views of the rolling countryside of Tuscany were amazing. And the wines and olive oil that we sampled were fantastic. The bottles were a bit pricey for our budget, especially with shipping to the U.S. was something like 60-70 Euros. What a wonderful welcome, delicious food with seven wines plus a dessert wine. I’m not sure you could go anywhere else where you’d find friendlier people, a more convenient location to get to by public transport (so you can take full advantage of the wine!) or a more beautiful location.
