The pyramid is fun and beautiful. It’s a great thing to incorporate into a vacation day if you are in the area, if you have a car and if you are confident driving on steep, narrow roads with killer drop offs with no guard rails. My only complaint pertains to marketing. The website for all of these art installations (Fiumara d’Arte) lacks practical & pragmatic guidance. There is no map showing the locations of these art installations. There is no guidance on what installations can be grouped together easily into a fun morning or afternoon expedition. There is no explanation that one can only access the inside of the pyramid and entry tube a few days every year. And the website does not tell one what days the inside of the pyramid and entry tube are open to the public. Also the Google Maps location of the pyramid is wrong. One must continue several more minutes along the road beyond where Google Maps states the pyramid is located. The proper location on Google Maps is something that should have been corrected long ago by the marketing team in charge of these installations. It’s a simple fix that the owner of the Google Maps listing can easily correct with a pin drop. It would take that person one minute and would help visitors immensely. Until that happens, one must continue driving beyond the Google Maps location until you see the pyramid itself from the road. There is a dirt parking lot off the paved road near the pyramid. Park there. To exit, you can not follow the road you came up. At least not initially. You must continue up the road in the direction you were driving when you arrived. This last leg has a dramatic drop off to the right with no guardrail - just some sticks with barbed wire. This will not be a pleasant drive if you are afraid of heights or a poor driver. After a few minutes, this route will loop around back to the road...

This is a very hard to reach monumental sculpture that is part of a group of sculptures forming an outdoor museum of large sculptures. It is located on the 38th parallel of Sicily that same parallel as the border between North and Korea. This is dedicated as the 38th parallel of peace. There is a summer solstice festival here each year, the only time you can enter into the pyramid. It is still worth the effort if you are on the north coast of Sicily to visit. There are no guides and only one sign but there are great views and you can see 2 of the other sculptures from this spot. It is even more symbolic now with all of the turmoil about...
