Cascina Belmonte — Attraction in Muscoline

We booked a tasting of 5 wines, but got so much more.

First Samira showed us around the production halls and explained how the different wines are produced and happily answered questions. It was incredibly exciting to hear about, and we were allowed to walk around and look for ourselves afterwards.

Then we came out to a nice table set up in the most beautiful surroundings. There we were served some delicious local specialties (cheese and two kinds of sausage, bread, honey and delicious olive oil) and then we tasted the wines one by one. We had plenty of time to taste the wines, chat, and have some time alone. The tasting was supposed to last an hour, but we ended up being there for 3 hours. We ended up purchasing 12 amazing bottles for a super reasonable price.

What a wonderful experience! The winery is beautiful, the wine itself is fantastic and in some cases (Walden) a whole new experience and the owner is friendly and delightful.
