Se si visita Nicotera la Giudecca è assolutamente imperdibile. È una delle più importanti del Sud Italia e conserva strade strette e passaggi sopraelevati, oltre che bellissimi portali in granito. Alcune abitazioni sono decorate con mascheroni in terracotta, di antica tradizione. Venne fondata da Federico II e la presenza ebraica stimolò l'economia nicoterese, fino alla cacciata effettuata nel 1511.

Il quartiere ebraico di Nicotera è uno dei quartieri più antichi del Paese purtroppo la scarsa illuminazione e la poca pulizia rendono il posto poco visitabile. Il folclore popolare raccontano anche diverse storie di fantasmi case abbandonate e alcune anche diroccate rendono anche il posto...
