Barone Sergio Winery — Attraction in Noto

We had the fortune to attend a beautiful party organised by them with another team of professionals in catering at this magic wine paradise and had probably the most memorable day in the whole week. Beyond the fact that wines are top and I particularly enjoyed the natural sparking one, I must say that the big difference comes to the people (yes you Luigia and team)running this wine paradise and of course the location of this place perfectly curated to enjoy every sip of their unique wines. Today, we happened to drive past Barone Sergio Winery. After seeing the great reviews on Google, we decided to turn back and stop by to enjoy some local wines. Although the wine bar was closed due to an upcoming event, and the staff were busy preparing, Luigia Sergio—the (future) owner—noticed us in the courtyard.

She kindly took the time to sit down with us, share her knowledge about wine production, and let us taste some wonderfully smooth and approachable wines. It was a pleasure talking with her and hearing about her deep passion for growing grapes and crafting wine.

We visited the winery on a spontaneous trip while looking for good regional wines. All the more delighted we were by Luigia’s warm hospitality 🫶She took the time to introduce us to the wines and even served a small selection of snacks. The wines are excellent, and the winery itself is beautifully designed with great attention to detail.
