Spiaggia Costa dell'ambra — Attraction in Pachino

I visited this beach in September 2023 specifically to visit the site of the landings by Canadian soldiers in the Second World War. This beach, and the one just northwest of it, were where the Canadian contingent of the allied landings took place in July of 1943, facilitating the first substantive victories in Europe in the war.

The beach itself is lovely and locals started to show up after work, though when I arrived there at about 2 it was deserted.
