La chiesa è ubicata nella parte alta del centro cittadino di Palmi, all'incrocio tra la via Concordato e la via Galluppi. Nota anche come chiesa di San Francesco, il luogo di culto attuale (realizzato nel 1937) ha acquisito il nome dall'antica chiesa del Rosario demolita nel 1919 ed ubicata vicino all'attuale viale delle Rimembranze, che venne elevata a parrocchia il 30 maggio 1733. All'interno si può ammirare la cantoria con l'organo proveniente da Monaco di Baviera oltre agli altari dedicati a San Francesco d'Assisi, Santa Lucia, Sant'Antonio da Padova, il Sacro...
