Il duomo domina dall'alto il centro storico di Penne. Peccato che la zona, come il resto delle chiese e del centro storico stesso, sia lasciato all'abbandono e non sfrutti nemmeno in parte l'enorme attrattiva e il potenziale che potrebbe avere. L'edificio รจ molto interessante e sarebbe stato bello poterlo visitare ma era stranamente chiuso (in una domenica di Luglio) come del resto anche tutte le altre chiese, peccato.

Cattedrale in restauro, prossimo alla riapertura. Oltre la chiesa, c'รจ da ammirare la cripta molto suggestiva. Ci sono anche da visitare il museo archeologico e quello diocesano. Nei pressi c'รจ anche il museo di arte moderna Mamec. I musei sono aperti grazie ai volontari dell'associazione...
