Goretti Wines Agricultural Production (S.R.L.) — Attraction in Perugia

Lovely location. Too bad for the rest of the experience. We do wine tasting in a all places we visit in Italy (and other countries) so we have some expertise, but this is by far our worst ... First of all, when we arrived the smell from the pig's farm was awful but by the end of the "tour" our noses got used to it. We were greeted by one of the owner's daughters who was very nice but too bad she didn't stay with us for more familiar explanations about the place and it's tradition. We wanted 4 cappuccinos because we were tired from the road and surprise, they didn't had milk/coffee machine. We got some coffee in plastic cups and after this, we didn't see her at all. The tour was held by Mara, a friendly face but a little overwhelmed by everything: we began the wine tasting with high expectations but reminding Mara that we were very hungry and that we would love to supplement our plates with some more food, of course, by paying extra. We couldn't do that, even though we've seen a chef walking by the property and also the kitchen's door was opened and we were able to see all sorts of meats that were on the table. It was not possible to have anything extra because we had to book the lunch menu in advance. The tour began in the middle of the property so we can get a glampse of the tower, under the burning sun, explaining us that the view from the top of the tour is amazing since we were so close from Perugia. Didn't get the chance to go up the tower, I guess you just have to imagine the view. Don't know why we didn't climb. The wine tasting included 6 wines: the very first a sparkling wine with yeast in it. It was dreadful! The other wines doesn't even worth mentioning because they were ordinary. It took forever to taste the wines because Mara was in the kitchen most of the time and we had to call her to speed up the process. The entire experience lasted for over an hour and by the end of it, we were very, very hungry and with our mouths dry because the wines are dry, acidic and quite harsh if not combined/interrupted by a suitable dish/food. Moreover, at one point, she took pity on us and brought us a jar of honey and an extra loaf of bread. Very bad experience, especially because they made us feel like we came to beg for food. We felt like we were interrupting them from something important. Luckily, afterwards, we ended up in an extraordinary restaurant located near this winery, where we had a wonderful meal and where we felt treated...

Cantina Goretti is THE best winery I have been to! After a quick drive (about 10 minutes) from Perugia's center, you experience the beauty of the rolling hills and countryside and instantly feel like you are entering a private villa. When you pull into the beautiful vineyard, with the local vibe, family oriented, and historical tower, you will be greeted by the beautiful Goretti family for your tasting. The Goretti family takes the time to explain to you their unique wines and products and the tasting offers a variety of wines, sure to please the pickiest of wine drinkers. I have been to major and small local vineyards in California, Argentina, Israel, and Spain and the Goretti winery is by far the very best I have been to. Each wine is paired with a delicious authentic Italian small plate, and the Goretti family enjoys sharing their passion and pride for their wine with all. They made us feel like family and we will be sure to return. We hope to bring our family and friends someday too. We did not want to leave! You will be so lucky if a tasting at the Goretti Vini is part of your trip to Umbria!

Тадам ! Cantina Goretti и восхитительная красотка , одна из владелец этой винодельни , так легко и искусно управляющая им потрясающая Сара - Sara Goretti .

Поместье Горетти расположено в холмистой местности , на окраине города Перуджи , являющийся столицей региона Умбрия . Винное хозяйство Горетти - это интересная история производителей вина, которая началась в начале далеких 1900-х годов . Кантина производит вина в зонах Монтефалько и Колли Перуджини.

В самом центре поместья находится флагман Горетти башня ( забыла какого века , но очень древняя ) отлично отреставрированная , ее можно увидеть на этикетках Винодельни . В Кантине производят вино уже четвёртое поколение Горетти . Сегодня это уже Концерн , потому , что кроме виноделия есть в Усадьбе винное СПА с различными процедурами и производство большой линийки косметики на вине . На винодельне есть вертолетная площадка . Очень зелёная и гармоничная территория винодельни подходит для больших вечеринок и даже торжеств .

Сара Горетти - это красивая , яркая , очень энергичная девушка , с хорошим багажем знаний , отличной фигурой , невероятно милой улыбкой , потрясающей итальянской харизмой и ярковыраженным обаянием сразу влюбляет в себя с пол оборота . Во всем , что она делает прослеживается любовь . Любовь к Италии , любовь к Умбрии , любовь к виноделию , любовь к семейному делу , к маленькому сладкому сыну , любовь к традициям и любовь к династии Горетти . Сара просто заражает своей любовью . Мне очень нравятся такие люди . Сара рассказала о матриархате , о своей волшебной бабушке Нонне , которая управляла семейным хозяйством и которая написала книгу рецептов , подозреваю , что это тоже книга по фудпэйрингу . Красота у этой семьи в генах ! Все девушки семьи Горетти невероятные красотки и большие умницы .

В портфолио Горетти есть несколько очень зачетных экземпляров - Сагрантино ди Монтефалько D.O.C.G. и Colli Perugini D.O.C. Вина Горетти качественные , великолепно сделаны , сбалансированы , имеют несколько наград , как итальянских , так и международных .

Я получила огромное удовольствие от Дегусиации , экскурсии и от общения с красавицей Сарой . Очень гостеприимная девушка с большим сердцем . Меня сильно смутило у итальянки имя Сара , абсолютно еврейское имя , нашей великой проматери . Но это так , к слову ) Хочу пожелать процветания и новых винных достижений этой великолепной семье Горетти !
