Lido Beach Hookipa — Attraction in Porto Cesareo

I would like to share my experience at Hookipa Beach, which was not very enjoyable. The sea is indeed beautiful, but that is not the credit of the establishment. It is not allowed to bring your own drinks and sandwiches, which I accepted. However, when I purchased food from them, it was very disappointing. The pasta with tomato sauce, which tasted like it came straight from a can, was barely warm and unpleasant. The fritto misto was as small as a fingernail and certainly not worth the price. Prices were sky-high. On another occasion, since we are a family with children we brought sandwiches , having noticed others there eating their own food. It seemed like we were being hunted down, as we were repeatedly warned that we could not have outside food. It was apparent that the lifeguards friends could eat what they wanted while we could not. I understand we are tourists, but this is not the way to treat visitors. Instead, they should make an effort to leave a good impression with tasty food. We chose Puglia to enjoy its tradition, flavors, and culinary delights, but it turned out to be a complete disappointment for tourists. I even researched and found no consumer law preventing us from eating homemade food. Only the sea and the beaches are beautiful, which is a gift from nature, not from them. Hookipa in Porto Cesareo is an excellent spot I highly recommend for weekend aperitifs, especially when there’s some music playing. You can enjoy great drinks with your feet in the water or dance right on the sand, creating a lively and unforgettable atmosphere. If you’re in the mood for a tasty aperitif, you’ll find delicious snacks like tarallini, friselline, little mozzarella bites, and other local treats. You can also visit Hookipa during the day for the beach experience, but in my opinion, the true highlight of this place is definitely the evening...

Dopo anni passati in questo splendido lido da coppia senza figli, e con un feedback sempre positiva. Mi tocca dargli un feedback altamente negativo avendo da quest'anno delle esigenze da genitore. Purtroppo è un lido che non vuole bambini piccoli, visto che ho chiamato per poter prenotare un ombrellone con due lettini per 20 giorni, mi è stato detto che non era possibile prenotare così tanti giorni un ombrellone,... Gli rispondo che avrei pagato tutta la cifra anche se ci fosse stato il rischio di non poterci andare causa avverse condizioni meteorologiche. Mi rispondono che neanche così sarebbe stato possibile. Gli chiedo di farlo per cortesia visto che ero un loro cliente affezionato e con la bambina piccola non potevo rischiare di rimanere senza ombrellone. Anche questa volta mi si dice che non sarebbe stato possibile. Allora gli chiedo di prenotarmi un ombrellone per l'indomani e mi rispondono che solo dopo le 12 mi potevano dire se ce3ne sarebbe stato uno disponibile.. Al che inizio a ribadirgli che ho una bambina piccola e che dovrei scendere in spiaggia molto preso, andr via verso le 11 e tornare nel tardo pomeriggio.. Ma mi rispondono che alloro non interessava e che solo dopo le 13 mi avrebbero potuto dare disponibilità...
