In provincia di Agrigento, le spiagge che vanno per la maggiore sono San Leone e la Scala dei Turchi, ma quella di Porto Empedocle - che confina e sfocia in quella di Realmonte - a mio avviso non ha nulla da invidiare a loro: larga e spaziosa in modo da non essere mai "accerchiati" nemmeno nei giorni di punta, pulita, acqua sempre più calda rispetto alle sue "colleghe" agrigentine e sabbia molto fine, che non si attacca alla gambe e alle braccia. C'è un ampio parcheggio e la possibilità di acquistare ombrelloni e bevande nei chioschi attigui nonchè di affittare pedalò. Forse ha pochi divertimenti sportivi - scivoli, campi da beach volley, ecc. - ma per chi cerca pace e...
