When the wind is from the east or the north, this beach is calm and blue like the Carribbean, and it's great to make a day of it on the free beach in the summer, breaking for lunch in the restaurant, and spending a lazy two hours eating in their veranda in the shade. (The restaurant has good food for reasonable prices - but make sure you book during high season, either the day before, or immediately you arrive at the beach) it's nice also to linger for the sunset over the sea of you haven't had enough by then. The calamari fritti were good but at 13 eur way too expensive. Same for the grilled ones. Wines were 4 eur and good. We were with 2 small children (under 2 years) and one of 5 and they charged copetta for each. Read moreA must do if you are in the neighborhood!! We were afraid that the place was dedicated to the tourist but actually it was a really good discovery. The food is really good and really fresh, you are almost the feets in the sea. The service is really good and the owner really nice. We actually cancelled our afternoon projects to stay on their private beach. The water is really clean as the beach.
