Read moreI have had a number of visits over the years to Rocca Bernarda in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region of Italy. Joining SMOM friends for wine tastings and catered lunch’s on site, this beautiful wine estate is a wonderful place to visit and taste excellent wines. The castle dates back to 1559 and is currently owned by the Order of Malta. As you approach Rocca Bernarda, you will see rolling hills with a terraced vineyard and pass the production facility before you arrive at the fortified villa. Rocca Bernarda’s production covers many of the classic white and red wines, but the estate is mostly famous for Piccolit. Bring a group of friends, bring a picnic and enjoy the excellent wine! Thank you Carla for hosting our groups, we look forward...
