Castello di Ahrensperg — Attraction in Pulfero

This is the most magical place I have ever experienced. The price is amazing considering the amenities and seclusion this castle offers. It feels like you're staying in a medieval castle but is very modern where it counts, like a beautiful new shower. The man who takes care of the place is a wonderful and welcoming gentleman who does a fabulous job keeping the area beautiful. Plan a trip here and plan nothing else, you will not need or want to leave. I wish I could leave ten thousand stars. Abbiamo visitato il castello in occasione di Castelli Aperti FVG il 7 aprile '24. Il castello fu distrutto nel 1364 e rimase sepolto nel bosco per quasi sette secoli. Un grande lavoro di ricostruzione totale preceduto da anni di studio. Il proprietario è molto simpatico e tutte le spiegazioni sono state esaustive. Abbiamo visionato anche un filmato su tutto il processo di ricostruzione. Accanto c'è la chiesetta antica dedicata a San Giacomo e Sant'Anna. All'evento hanno partecipato anche i ragazzi in costume del gruppo medioevale di Borgo San Domenico di Cividale che ci hanno presentato una lezione sull'uso della spada. Bravi,...
