Beautiful place, would reccomend to visit, is a nice feeling to get surrounded by nature after being in the different cities of Sicily. We just walk the path towards the mouth of the river and the sea, and it was peaceful and gorgeous. Recommend to walk it when the sun is not at its highest point due to almost no shade. We did walk it in flip-flops, but probably better with closed shoes.

Lovely nature reserve, free parking and entrance. Reception centre with clean bathrooms. Nice walking trails and beach access - but understandably no swimming allowed as it is a nature reserve. Great 1/2 day activity.

Small Natural reserve with mamy interesring things to see. Staff was welocoming and I recommend visiting the small museum containing fee specimens of local fauna and flora.

Staff provided us some leaflet with information about the reserve and the province.

Recommend walking the trail parallel to the river till you reach the sea, making a stop in the bird watching spot having care to keep silent and stealthy to get a chance to catch some nice birds Then walk the sentiero retroduna or alomg the beach till you...
