We felt like a bit of a change from visiting the beach so we found this place. A little bit outside Rimini we arrived to find ample paid parking (3€ per day). We then went in quite quickly without queues, probably due to covid. We spent about 45 minutes walking around the part of the park with the miniature building from all over Italy which were well made and interesting for us as we have visited many of the places. We then wondered round to see what else the park offered, not much! We took a ride on the Pinocchio ride which took about 2 minutes and the story was told only in Italian and felt very dated. Maybe for very young Italian kids it would be OK. Then we went on the boat trip around mini Venice, quite nice but nothing amazing. We then went for the parrot experience which was 2 large beautiful parrots that sat on the metal cage screaming. Last but not least we took a 5 minute ride on the mono-rail around the park. All in all, I felt that the 22€ price tag was a bit steep and maybe for kids of between the ages of 4 and 10 it might be interesting but other than that pretty underwhelming!

Really cool to see Italy in Miniatures! We spotted it on the way at the start of our Italy Road trip and spontaneously decided to stop by. We are so happy we did because it is amazing! It was on a Weekday so there were not a lot of people and no wait times. The miniatures are so well done, it looks so good. It is very interesting, informative, educational and impressive. The parrots, science center and rides were such a fun addition. There is something for everyone at any age, so much to see and learn. For our Road trip is was so perfect because we saw some places we experienced already and some we wanted to go, we also found inspiration and some places we hadn't known of yet. We always referenced back to Miniature Italy, it really made our whole Trip better. We stayed way longer than expected because we had so much fun and I would recommend everyone to check this out!

Nice thematic park, for adults and children. The miniatures are well preserved (they don't look 30+ years old!) and some of them have also animations. There are also a few attractions like the train going above the park, the water trunks, the Pinocchio's attraction, and a few others. The attractions are mainly thought for children and the place makes learning a fun activity. So it is a very nice place also for schools. It is nice even for adults without childrens, even though these are a minority. The park is relatively small and can be seen in 2 hours with a fast speed and no queues, or it can take up to 4 if you want to do everything slowly. But in general it is smaller than other thematic parks and with less attractions. Even though, it deserves the 5 stars because it is original, educational, and it does not have excessive waiting times.

L' impianto del Parco è chiaramente anni '80 secolo scorso ma tutto (o quasi) è visibilmente ben tenuto o ristrutturato. Si ha impressione di pulizia generale, molto verde ben diffuso, tante panchine o muretti su cui ci si può sedere ( non bastano mai). Le attrazioni principali sono l'Italia in miniatura, L' Europa in miniatura ( o meglio i principali monumenti Europei in miniatura), Un giro in barca all' interno di un canale con riproduzione scenografica dei canali e dei monumenti di Venezia. Assolutamente da provare tutte e tre, fantastici per fedeltà e curiosità. C'è poi una grande piazza in cui camminare e sedersi, Piazza Italia, con riproduzioni di Palazzi tipici di un quasiasi borgo medioevale italiano, nella quale i bambini possono suonare ai campanelli delle porte, per dispetto come accadeva tanto tempo fa, provocando le reazioni di "coloro che abitano nelle case"... molto divertente per i bambini e non solo. Se andate d'estate portate costumi e cambio indumenti. Il caldo è asfissiante ma ci sono tanti punti per rinfrescarsi con docce a pioggerella e sopratutto alcune grandi attrazioni "bagnate": un vero castello in cui si può partecipare ad una battaglia tra i visitatori con cannoni spara acqua situati sia in alto tra le merlature della torre e delle ronde, sia al piano terra nel borgo e nella piazza. Questo da solo vale il prezzo del biglietto. Poi anche una montagna russa acquatica molto soft e divertente, la Segovia. Fantastico anche il Museo della scienza, pieno di macchine che i bambini possono sperimentare per capire i principi delle principali leggi della fisica, meccanica, dinamica, etc.. Diversi parchi giochi, punti ristoro e molto altro. Le file ci sono ma mai più di 10 minuti. Peccato solo per: 1) Era il 23 agosto, pienissimo di gente, ed il trenino monorotaia panoramico che dovrebbe permettere di fare il giro sull' Italia dall' alto era fermo, la stazione chiusa con cartello "Chiuso per manutenzione". Brutta sorpresa per noi adulti e per tre bimbi. 2) in periodi di caldo così torrido , benissimo aver previsto anche l' apertura serale 18.39 - 22.30, perché prima girare nel parco è davvero proibitivo. Tuttavia sarebbe opportuno prevedere più punti di distribuzione di bottiglie di acqua, se non gratis, a prezzi popolari, per prevenire lunghe file e malori.

Il voto sarebbe potuto essere molto più positivo se si dovesse votare l'idea in sé e la maestria degli artigiani che hanno fabbricato e costruito un così bello spettacolo. Purtroppo bisogna dare un giudizio in toto e ovviamente pagare così tanto (19 euro a persona compreso ragazzini minorenni però più alti di 1.40..., senza dimenticare che bisogna pagare anche il parcheggio) per avere così poco non è stato molto gradevole. Molti servizi erano chiusi, giustamente in inverno nessuno pretende di fare le stesse cose che si possono fare in estate ma troppo caro per un paio d'ore di freddo. Mi ha colpito la trascuratezza di certi particolari, le barchette telecomandate totalmente inutilizzabili, tutte fuori servizio... Molti dei pulsanti che dovrebbero dare quel qualcosa in più a livello visivo e meccanico non funzionavano. Foglie ovunque, anche nei laghetti e fiumi dell'Italia. Senso di degrado, aumentato dal vedere le bandiere europee vecchie di anni e lasciate sventolare tutte scolorite e rovinate. Molte delle piccole gondole nel percorso veneziano erano affondate. Inutile dire l'enorme imbarazzo e delusione nel vedere cotanta trascuratezza. Peccato perché mi è sembrato veramente un modo di fare soldi senza pensare alla gioia dei visitatori. E ripeto, non a buon mercato. Se mi concedete la metafora, questo parco è come una bella signora di una certa età che sente il peso degli anni e si vanta dei bei tempi passati. Il ristorante è sinceramente accettabile, primo, secondo e contorno con acqua 84 euro, qualità sufficiente. Almeno era in un posto caldo. Il cinema 7 dimensioni (a pagamento ovviamente...) senza infamia e senza lode. I pappagalli erano visibili ma da lontano... L'area degli esperimenti carina ed interessante, anche se pure qui si denota una carenza di manutenzione in alcuni punti. Mi dispiace davvero, ripeto, il parco è interessantissimo, fatto bene, tanti bei palazzi, monumenti e particolarità italiane che fanno veramente sentire il visitatore italiano degno e fiero di esserlo. Mi auguro che con la nuova stagione ci sia un miglioramento generale di tutti questi particolari, il degrado fa perdere valore.

Description
Italia in Miniatura is a leisure and miniature park in Viserba, a part of Rimini. The park displays 273 miniatures of famous Italian and European buildings in scale 1:25 and 1:50. The area is surrounded by Arcobaleno, a monorail. 10,000 plants and 5,000 miniature trees are integrated in the landscape.
