If I could give 10 stars,I would. This place is absolutely wonderful. First of all - the host. Alice is a wonderful hostess. She made us feel very welcome and superbly looked after, and we came there by chance, straight off the street, without booking. The whole experience was great mainly because of her, her knowledge of wines, her social skills. Really great. Secondly it's beautifully placed, and the wievs from the terrace are breathtaking. Thirdly - the wines. I don't know first thing about wines (I'm more of a beer fan) but the way Alice explained everything, presented with examples of tasted wines opened our eyes. Tenuta Prima Prietra is a small winery located in Riparbella, a beautiful part of the country overlooking the sea about 45 minutes from Livorno. All the wines were excellent and we decided to ship home (USA) a case for every one to enjoy. We were all part of a cruise and everyone, including the kids, agreed this was the best excursion we took. Highly...

On May 2nd, we visited the Prima Pietra Winery, and it was an unforgettable experience. The winery was recommended to us by a local from Cecina, and it turned out to be a perfect choice. From the moment we drove through the opening gate, the magic of the place began… The view from the winery, situated on a hill, is absolutely breathtaking.

The lady who guided us and shared the history of the winery and its wines was amazing—warm, kind, and courteous—adding even more charm to this enchanting place.

We highly recommend this winery to anyone looking to visit a vineyard while exploring Tuscany. You won’t be...
