SelvArt - Parco Arte Natura — Attraction in Roana

It's a wonderful place for a walk, and you can tell the idea behind the nature park is there however many of the sculptures are broken, weeds have overtaken the sculptures and the path is poorly marked. I feel bad for the scultptors who have their work on display. I really hope whomever is in charge of this initiative sees this review and considers revamping, placing signage for safety reasons. There is an area towards the end where you can go off path to see what I believe is a "stonehouse", it starts with a T, please be careful as there is barbwire down and could hurt someone. They have it listed as a place you can walk to and see as it's fenced off, but I don't recommend as the barbwire is rusted and could hurt someone. If you do decide to go my recommendation is just to do the first portion, stay straight on the path then head to Buso Stonehaus off in the woods, or Malga Erio. These two would be a great...

I had the pleasure of making a new work(“Prendere Posto”) at SelvArt, and while working on it it was nice to see how everyone was busy making the place better, from maintaining the paths, putting up new signs, creating murals, etc, etc… It is clear that SelvArt has returned from hibernation, and is here to stay!

2 anni di lavoro e in poche ore il 28 ottobre 2018 la violenta tempesta Vaia sradico' 14 milioni di alberi ❗... E i segni sono ancora molto evidenti! Questo e altri fenomeni meteorologici lo avevano semidistrutto. Ora è stato in buona parte ricostituito grazie al gran lavoro di molti volontari. . Parliamo di SELVART, delizioso parco di arte contemporanea e installazioni permanenti in una zona boschiva vicina ad Asiago voluto nel 2016 dallo scultore Marco Martalar . Ogni anno artisti internazionali si incontrano e, nell'ambito di vari eventi culturali, accrescono le opere creandole e scolpendole sul posto. Carino ed originale, la passeggiata non è impegnativa e molto ombreggiata in mezzo al bosco . Alcune vie poi purtroppo sono interdette a causa delle centinaia di alberi caduti, quindi attenzione a non avventurarsi in sentieri ormai non più "visibili". 7 km e 250 mt di dislivello e fresco assicurato essendo a 1200 mt circa, noi poi abbiamo allungato fino a 10 km essendo comunque la passeggiata piacevole anche se a tratti "triste" per tutti gli...
