It was a privilege to visit the birthplace of Saint Thomas Aquinas and take in breathtaking views from the Roccasecca hillside. If you're in the area, I would highly recommend stopping by. Estremamente bello. Lo abbiamo visitato di giovedì 19 dicembre, chiaramente eravamo solo noi. Inizialmente parcheggiai sulla strada e, nel chiedere indicazioni a un signore del luogo che si trovava casualmente lì, ci disse che si poteva parcheggiare più avanti fino alla chiesa ma il percorso di scale di legno che portava fino al castello era andato a fuoco ed era difficoltoso raggiungerlo a meno di essere delle caprette. Dopo aver parcheggiato alla chiesa abbiamo preso un percorso di terra e ciottoli in salita che partiva da dietro la chiesa. Beh 200 metri di piacevole scarpinata tra le cacche di mucca e si arriva facilmente, nulla di così complicato o difficoltoso, solo necessarie scarpe comode e un po di fiato perché è tutto leggermente in salita.
