Museo Agusta — Attraction in Samarate

Great experience! The Agusta museum is a huge trove of helicopter and motorcycle exhibits, with all the history of the Agusta company, as well as of the other historical companies that existed in the past and were merged or bought by the current Leonardo Helicopters division. Highly recommended is to visit it in the week days, so to enjoy a visited guide, assisted by a real competent and enthusiastic guide. This is an excellent museum that showcases not only the rich history of the Agusta company but also passion and craftsmanship as well. If you're into motorcycles, helicopters or aviation in general this is a great museum to check out. The staff is helpful but most of them do not speak much English. Almost all of the displays have both Italian and English descriptions so there is plenty to read if you're visiting. If your kids are interested in these topics it's absolutely worth the 4 euro...

Beautiful museum telling the rich history of Agusta. A must visit if you are interested in helicopters and the technology that makes them work. The museum staff is very friendly and passionate.
